Thousands of people on Monday participated in funerals of four youth and a militant, who were killed yesterday in army firing at Pahnoo village in south Kashmir’s Shopian district. At Shopian, six rounds of funerals were held for slain youth suhail wagay in pinjura shopain until the filing of this report Pro-freedom and pro-Islam slogans were raised as thousands of people including women and children were accompanied funeral processions. Women were seen beating their chests and throwing flower petals and sweets on the bodies of slain youth.
